Which is in my wedding colors and looks very sweet with my bridesmaids dresses.

Would it be tacky to give them a “wedding themed” gift? Should I get another piece of jewelry or something else as well?
Zanthus how exactly do you get hooker from a summer dress that will have a cropped cardigan over it?
It’s a casual, summer, picnic wedding not a ballroom extravaganza where the women need to wear floor length dresses and the men need to wear tuxedos.
I love idiots who choose to ignore the question and comment on something completely frickin random.

Not at all, I got a wedding themed gift once. It was a jewelry box with the colors of our dresses.

I don’t think it would be tacky at all. My girlfriend gave all of her bridesmaids matching periwinkle blue gift sets from things remembered that matched her colors. As long as you think they will like the gift – go for it!!

No. it is fine to give them a gift to go with the theme. It is a very pretty necklace. I was in my friends wedding and she did the same thing.

I think it is a nice idea. It will always remind your bridesmaids of your special day. I too received a wedding themed gift once and I love it. It is a handmade purse in the colors of the bridesmaids dresses.

I think it would be sweet
The necklace is really pretty and the fact that its your wedding colors will remind them of your special day and who gave it to them. It would also look adorable with the dress. I like how ur dresses are lil more casual by the way.

Well, they may look ok with the dresses you’re going to have them wear, but how often do you think they’d wear the necklaces in their every day life? Instead of spending more money on another necklace, maybe you could look around for something that they could wear outside of your wedding day, but that would also go with the bridesmaid dresses. Why give them something they’ll only wear once, right?

Wow. That dress and the necklace are both really taste specific. Although it “goes” with the dress I doubt all of them will like it and wear it again. Don’t you want to get them something they will use again. I would go with something more simple that would go with more outfits in the future.

Definitely not! The bridesmaids will love it, and even when the wedding is over, they can wear that necklace with other outfits. Its a gift from you to them, they don’t need more than that “ITS YOUR SPECIAL DAY!” – and they will be glad that you thought of them!

I think the dress is tacky! What in the world made you pick an everyday/going to the mall/date/beach dress for a wedding? The necklace matches, but are they going to wear if after the wedding, probably not. Maybe you could opt for something esle…maybe something they can remember the wedding by…or actually use after the wedding.

The necklace is a great gift. Not only will it look terrific with the dress, but it’s something the women can wear again and again.
